UCLUELET — A Vancouver-based company plans to explore an old iron-ore mine that has sat dormant for about 40 years.

Logan Resources Ltd. has applied to the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources to drill between 11 and 18 exploration holes at the old Brynnor Mine, near Toquart Bay on Barkley Sound.

As part of the referral process, company officials discussed their plans with the Clayoquot Sound Central Region Board Thursday.
